Digital Transformation...

SPR is a small automotive company specialising in Black Cab Taxi Parts. As a small business, their revenue streams and focus relied on word-of-mouth and foot-fall in their shop for being to buy parts.

Though they had a website and an eBay store, it wasn't fully optimised and thus it was secondary revenue that was coming in slowly. 

After getting their dose of digilution, our team completely optimised their website and eBay stores, ensuring that all products were uploaded with meta data and keywords which aids discovery. In addition, our team strategised ways of bringing traffic to the website - for example putting flyers in every bag for customers who came in store to let them know if they purchase directly on the website and spend over a certain amount they would get a little discount.

After a few months of revamping the website and implementing SEO techniques, SPR became the top ranked website when searching key words such as 'taxi parts coventry'.

Ultimately, the online website and eBay store became SPR's primary revenue! Success!

Power in Automation

The African Leadership University is an educational institute of the future, who's goal is to create 3 million leaders in Africa by 2030. While very much in start up phase ALU have worked with Digilution on retainer as their go to all-round email marketing arm. From admissions, to leads, to existing students, we have worked side by side with the ALU team to polish the look and feel of their email campaigns so that each of their receiving audiences get a clear and concise message!

In addition, we have created multiple automations and journeys which help optimise and increase the performance of the application processes. By coming up with a smarter way of emailing potential students, it enabled ALU to gain far higher submitted applications than ever before (1200% increase in submitted applications). At each touch point along the application journey we have an automated email to guide the lead along the way. The work we've done alongside ALU for the past 2 University cycles really proof the power in automation.

The Rise of Social

Texas Instruments is one of the largest semiconductor companies in the world and has been at the heart of many technological advances. A $14 billion dollar company which is headquartered in Dallas but also has an EMEA division in Munich. During the early adoption of Social Media, conservative companies like this one, who's audience is mainly B2B / Engineers didn't understand how to use social media to their advance and thus it was one of the last points on the communication playbook.

When Digilution were appointed to help the EMEA team at TI with their Social Media channels, in particular their Facebook page, they were sitting at roughly 1300 followers and were highly inactive with low engagement rates. We decided to use this as an opportunity to test the waters and run multiple trial campaigns that were never done before in this industry and see how that effected engagement. By creating campaigns such as 'Engineer2Engineer' and '#NotJustCalculators' where we'd open discussions for engineers to comment their thoughts on and also showcase end-use products that TI chips are part of; as most people associated the brand with the scientific calculators they invented, it boosted engagement by 820%.

After working closely with the different business units to gather content and increasing the number of organic and paid for posts per day, we saw a dramatic rise in both engagement and following. Once we were done and found the correct rhythm and social strategy for TI the Facebook page then had over 15,000 followers and was all of a sudden one of the primary communication tools that the team used for promotion.

Attracting More Ears

Space Monk is a California based independent Soul/RnB/Alternative recording artist. Having released a number of projects and songs over the years Space Monk thought it was time to try invest in himself and use the power of Paid Social to get a larger number of ears to listen to his incredible music.

Working alongside the artists we ran multiple Facebook and Instagram campaigns targeted to the precise audience and demographic that the artists audience already derive from. From analysing his statistics from multiple sources such as Spotify/Soundcloud we were able to reproduce and attract a similar a like-minded audience through Facebook targeting to listen to his new songs as they were released.

Through testing different forms of media from static images to gifs to short videos we were able to identify which form resonated both alongside his style of music and the some-what niche audience we wanted to attract. With that knowledge we were able to accumulate great results in follow up campaigns that lead to over 20k clicks!
